What learners can expect

  1. Plan, conduct, represent, evaluate, and communicate Grade 6 scientific inquiries using safe, fair, evidence-based methods.
  2. Explain structures, functions, and interactions of the excretory, reproductive, hormonal, and nervous systems.
  3. Classify heterogeneous mixtures and design separations based on component properties.
  4. Use Newton’s three laws, balanced/unbalanced forces, and gravity to explain motion.
  5. Explain solar-system position and motion within the Milky Way and reason about the scale, structure, and age of the universe.
