Science 7 — British Columbia

A complete self-directed BC Science 7 course covering inquiry, evolution by natural selection, elements/compounds/crystalline solids/chemical change, electricity generation and electromagnetism, and fossil/climate evidence over geological time. Includes original diagrams, safe investigations, simulated datasets, repair sets, cumulative retrieval, mastery assessments, source protocols, and standards traceability.

What learners can expect

  1. Plan, conduct, represent, evaluate, and communicate Grade 7 scientific inquiries with safe, ethical, evidence-based methods.
  2. Use population-level evidence and natural selection to explain changes in diversity and survival over generations.
  3. Distinguish elements, compounds, and other pure substances; model crystalline structure and chemical change.
  4. Explain how electricity and magnetism are related in generators and electromagnets and evaluate generation impacts.
  5. Use fossils, dating, climate proxies, human-impact evidence, and appropriately sourced local knowledge to reason about Earth and climate change through time.
